Welcome! My tuba collection contains mostly American 6/4 size vintage tubas. Many of these horns are rare and unique. Most of these tubas get played regularly at home and in community bands I play in. Some will also be restored and the new pictures will be posted. Check back!

Martin Mammoth 6/4 1956 This one comes from New York state and was formerly a military, and polka band horn.	Buescher Upright 6/4 1942 It's really a Conn designed horn with a Buescher stamp. Found an upright bell from the Conn 20J series and now I have a 6/4 conn/buescher upright bell tuba which can be used indoors with 4 front action valves which is rare. My current community band horn.	Conn Orchestra Grand 1915 formerly owned by Dale Hale, John Swain, Ray Cadd, & Michael Bush. Played this horn with a local university ensemble.
J.W. York & Sons Monster 6/4 BBb Model 91 1912 From the Lynch collection. This one is played in the privacy of my own home. Away from careless people. The highly sought Model 91. Martin Mammoth 6/4 1915 A rare Pre-WWI early Martin. Recently restored by Martin Wilk. The throat on the bell is 20 inches! Because of condition, these horns are salvaged for bows and parts usually. It was amazing to find it in restorable condition.	Buescher 6/4 Recording BBb 1942 A rare Buescher 6/4 tuba recently partially restored. A 24 inch recording bell that tilts a little more than standard designs. Essentially a stencil of a Conn 36J but with Buescher engravings and details/accents. This 4 valve beauty can make the foundation shake!	York Monster 6/4 Recording BBb 1928 Made around the same period the famous Chicago Symphony Yorks were commissioned. The idea this horn was made with the same skilled hands fascinates me. Powerful, mellow, and broad dark sound. This is on the block to be converted to an original York upright bell 6/4.
York Monster Eb 6/4 1912 A York monster with front action in superb condition. Eb tubas are popular in the British brass bands and back in the day. Their smaller size makes high notes more stable and thus suited for solo work. I've played this in Tuba Christmas many times.	York Medium Eb 1917 I've practiced some solo tuba stuff on this. Just a beautifully preserved horn.
